Paintings are 8×10 and fit easily into a standard frame.
How it Works
When I begin work on your painting, you will receive an email letting you know it’s in progress as well as a confirmation of any special instructions.
Paintings are packed in cardboard and mailed in padded envelopes to ensure they arrive in mint condition.
Photos
When taking photos, be sure the house is framed in the orientation you desire.
For example, if you want the house painted at an angle, then the photo must display it at an angle. If you want it straight on, then I need a straight on shot.
I am unable to change the angle from the photo so it must be photographed as you want it.
Special Instructions
Also, point out anything in the photo you don’t want included such as a potted plant or a soccer ball left in the driveway.
If you are adding any embellishments such as people or animals, you can send them in separate photos.
For instance, if want a couple standing in the driveway of the home holding hands, you can send a photo that is just of them holding hands, and I will work it into the painting.
For lettering, you just need to let me know what you would like it to say and whether you want it to appear on the top or the bottom of the painting. I will come up with a few fonts for you to choose from.
Delivery
If you want to have the painting in hand for a certain event or house closing, then it’s best to plan ahead.
If the painting won’t be completed at the time you wish to gift it, I will be happy to send a card to the recipient letting them know a painting is being created for them and will soon be on its way.
Pricing
Pricing is as follows:
8 x 10 ink and watercolor painting of a house – $200
The base price is for the house only.
If you wish to add embellishments, I charge an additional fee.
Embellishments – $50
Embellishments are as follows:
• people
• animals
• lettering – such as an address or title i.e. “The Smith Estate”
The embellishments fee covers up to three of these addons.
For example:
• two people and a dog
• a cat, a person and letttering
If you only want one embellishment such as a dog on the lawn, the fee is still $50
If you want more than three embellishments I charge an additional $50
